Fernando Alves is a highly regarded goalkeeping coach known for his calm, detail-oriented approach and commitment to developing modern, well-rounded keepers. During his time with Brisbane Roar, he built a reputation for blending strong technical foundations with decision-making, distribution, and game awareness.
Now, Alves is passing on that professional-level expertise to the next generation at Tarragindi Tigers, bringing the same standards, insight, and passion to help young goalkeepers grow in confidence and capability.
Junior Goalkeeper Coach - Mitch Holm
Mitch Holm represents the pathway every young goalkeeper at Tarragindi Tigers can aspire to. Having started his journey at the club as a junior, he has progressed through the ranks to become the first-team goalkeeper in the club’s FQPL side, combining his playing experience with a passion for coaching the next generation.
As Junior Goalkeeping Coach, Mitch brings energy, relatability, and a strong understanding of the club’s culture. He focuses on building solid fundamentals while helping young keepers develop confidence, resilience, and a love for the position. His hands-on approach and recent playing experience allow him to connect closely with developing goalkeepers, offering practical insight and guidance drawn directly from his own pathway.
