At the Tarragindi Tigers, we’re proudly a volunteer-run club and it’s our amazing families who help make everything possible.
Throughout the season, we ask parents to lend a hand with a few small but important team tasks. This usually includes taking turns on the “fruit and jersey” roster, organised by your team manager. On your allocated week, you might bring along some fruit for the players to enjoy after the game (think oranges or watermelon 🍊🍉), or take the team jerseys home to wash as a full kit.
Keeping the jerseys together as a set helps them stay consistent and match-ready for every game. Thank you for helping us keep the team looking sharp!
We also kindly ask that a parent or guardian remains present during both training sessions and games. While our coaches are dedicated, supportive, and hold the required blue cards, they’re there to coach, and we work best when everyone shares in creating a safe and supportive environment for the kids. Weather can change quickly, and having parents nearby ensures everyone can head home safely if plans shift. Many teams choose to set up group chats or contact lists (coordinated by the team manager) to help with communication, carpooling, and supporting each other - it’s all part of building that strong Tiger community.
Finally, just like our players and coaches, we ask all parents and supporters to follow our club’s codes of conduct, helping us create a positive, respectful, and encouraging environment for everyone.
Together, we make the Tigers what they are 🧡
