Parent Duties

As a volunteer-based club, it is necessary for all families to get involved.  This includes parents taking their turn in the “fruit and jersey” rosters throughout the season.  Team managers will organise rosters for parents to bring fruit (eg watermelon, oranges) to the game, and to take the jerseys, as a full kit home to wash.  Junior players are not to take individual jerseys home – they are to stay as a kit in order to have them together and to avoid one jersey fading at a different rate to others.

Training sessions and games are not to be treated as free baby-sitting services.  Whilst all coaches have a blue card, and have taken on a role of coaching the children, players are the sole responsibility of the parent.  NO child is to be left in the care and supervision of a coach. In times of sudden wet weather cancellations mid-training, it is distressing for both coach and child when a parent is not present and is not able to be contacted immediately.  Many teams, via the manager, create a team contact list, in order for busy parents to car-pool or help with supervision.  This is up to the team and parents, and is to remain strictly within the team – no contact details are to be given without consent.

Parents, as with players and coaches, are required to adhere to the codes of conduct.

Team Communications

Tarragindi Tigers launched "Team App" a free App to help our Club's Managers/Coaches manage their team but most of all to help our members keep all their Team/s and Club communications in the one place.

Managers and Coaches will see the fantastic features of this free App to make communicating with their team a breeze. Benefits include: calendar dates - training and game details, allowing players to indicate availability for games by using the RSVP feature, using the Draw and Ladder features to keep a tab on your team, using the Chat feature instead of texting the team or selected players, sharing photos among their team and more.

The Committee would like to request each TT player/family join Team App to receive Club wide notifications e.g. wet weather field status, news, etc Team App is available on both Apple and Android platforms, even if you don't have a smartphone you can sign up via the webpage and receive email notifications.

Team Photos

Team photos will be taken in your teams training time in date TBA.

Grass Rooots Football Club

TTFC is a grass roots football club run primarily by volunteers. We require your support in a variety of ways so we can continue to keep kicking goals together. There are a number of ways in which you can help and every little bit counts - various volunteer roles including team manager, team coach, canteen duty, BBQ duty, game-day photography and working bees. The Committee meets once a month for a couple of hours and is always looking for anyone who would have an interest in the future development of the club.

We are always looking for individuals who may have time to help organise activities at the club. - ie. Face painters at End of Season Carnival, Bake Stall, Mural painter - let us know what your talents are!

Please contact our Volunteers Co-ordinator, Brook Fairbairn at volunteers@tarraginditigers.com.au or President, Craig Whye at president@tarraginditigers.com.au if you are keen to help where you can to support our football club.

Wet Weather Announcements

TRAINING DAYS

When fields are closed and training is cancelled, it is because of player safety, as well as field longevity for game days and for training for the rest of the 2025 season.

The committee analyses Esher St, HPSHS & Griffith Uni to evaluate the condition of the fields and if there has been enough drainage for football to go ahead.

Decisions will be made by 3-4pm on rainy days during wet weather periods.

TTFC thanks all the Players and Parents during days like these with your patience.

GAME DAYS

For all junior teams from U8's, notifications will come via Squadi

Please ensure you download the Squadi app and check your draw/upcoming games regularly.
